Greatwood Lodge can be found in the heart of East Anglia down a quiet, private track road in an ancient hazel wood with beautiful blue bells and wild garlic in the spring time. We have badgers and deer roaming and a secret hideaway deep within the woods to observe the wild life.
We are newly opened as of 1st July 2019!
We are ideally located for some great sight seeing in the area with Ipswich just 5 minutes drive away providing shopping, cinemas, theatres, a lovely waterfront and local museum – see our Activities page for full details. Our Lodge is just 30 minutes drive away from Constable Country, Framlingham Castle, Felixstowe Beach and Bury St Edmunds with it’s beautiful Abbey Gardens.
Baylham Rare Breeds is close by and there are also many local walks to enjoy.
The Chequers pub just a few minutes walk away serves lovely home cooked food and just around the corner we have a Budgens shop for all those essentials.
